Isn't he so grown up and so, very handsome? And isn't he so patient as his Mom takes all these pictures?
Evan's birthday was two days of birthday fun. We had a small family party one day by having my parents come over for a BBQ and yummy birthday cake. This gave us the opportunity to sing Happy Birthday loud and strong and slightly off pitch for the birthday boy.
Another day was the friend party... and what a party. We took Evan and four of his friends to Lagoon, a local theme park. What a day. Have you ever been to a theme park with so many teenagers?
Not only were we at a theme park with five boys, we also brought along Tori and one of her friends. As you can see in the picture above one of Evan's friends is a little Romeo and immediately attached himself to the cute girls. So.... if you think going to a theme park with lots of teenagers is scary... try going with your daughter and her brother's older friends. Whew!
This meant that Todd and I had the job of letting the teenagers go have some fun on their own while secretly... stalking them.
Dude! What's up with that?
Seriously, the kids were great and it was a wonderfully, fun-filled, sun-filled day.
Then just a day after Evan's birthday he had one more fun event. Yes, it's true. Evan is now licensed to drive!
Wish I could somehow ride along side this boy and take pictures of him always.... but alas... you've got to let them go sometime.
