Park City Stew

I have a favorite stew that my family loves during the winter months; it's perfect for eating after a long day skiing or playing in the snow or shoveling the snow or working or... whatever. I don't know where I got this recipe but I've used it for years and thought I would share with you.

(This is not a picture of my stew but it looks just like it ... seriously.)

Park City Stew

1 pd. stew meat
3 large potatoes, cubed
3 carrots, sliced
3 celery, sliced
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can tomato sauce (4 oz.)
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
2 Bay leaves

Layer stew meat, potatoes, carrots, and celery in a crockpot. Mix soups, tomato sauce, and onion soup mix then pour mixture over the items in the crockpot. Place bay leaves on top of mixture. Cook in crockpot on low for 8 hours. Remove bay leaves before serving. Enjoy!

We like to top with Worcestershire sauce, adds some nice flavor. Enjoy with your favorite garlic bread.
