Sisters and Tulips

A few weeks ago the sisters and I got together for our annual Mother's day brunch at Thanksgiving Point.  Something we look forward to every year.  Oh, and, of course, our Mother was with us also.  Can't forget Mom.... Mother to seven daughters and one son.  This woman deserves a medal!

This year before and after the brunch we wandered the beautiful Thanksgiving Point gardens to view the incredible tulip festival.  Usually the tulip festival is over by Mother's day but because of the cold weather we've been having they extended it to through the middle of May.  Yah for us!  It was absolutely gorgeous.

It was really a very lovely day.  Time spent with my sisters wandering through the beautiful tulip landscape under a gorgeous, sunny sky.  Then spending two hours enjoying the delicious brunch offered at Thanksgiving Point and enjoying the conversation and company of my sweet sisters and Mother.

I'm so very blessed to have my sisters.  They are all such incredible women and Mothers.  Thanks to the example of our Mother who paved the way for us to have many opportunities in our personal lives.  These opportunities we've had for improvement and growth have helped us all to be better women, wives and Mothers.  Happy Mother's day to our wonderful Mother and my beautiful sisters.
